A global top tier name in solar inverters and energy storage is expanding its commercial and industrial sales team in Australia. The local business is well established, the product range is strong, and the focus now is simple: bring in new customers.

Your focus

You will spend most of your time out in the market. That means getting in front of installers, contractors, developers and distributors, starting conversations, and turning them into real projects. You run the deal yourself, from first meeting to signed order, and call on engineering and project specialists when a customer needs technical depth. Strong performers can step up to manage some of the company's most important accounts.

Day to day

- Meeting businesses face to face and picking up the phone to people you have not met yet
- Spotting rooftop solar and battery projects early and working out which ones are worth chasing
- Pricing, negotiating and closing
- Hosting product sessions, training days and roadshows alongside distribution partners

- Keeping your sales manager across your pipeline and passing on what competitors and customers are saying

You will likely have

- Five or more years selling into, or working within, the Australian solar, storage or electrical sector
- Contacts across contractors, installers, distributors or equipment manufacturers that you can call on from day one
- A solid grasp of how solar and batteries work on commercial sites
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, so you can work with Australian customers and with colleagues at headquarters
- A self starting, organised approach and no hesitation about cold calling or regular travel

What is on offer

A company with real market presence, freedom to build your own patch, and a transparent path into key account leadership.

All enquiries are handled in strict confidence.
