Our client is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to support a large-scale greenfield mining project currently progressing through major construction and infrastructure works.

This is an exciting opportunity for a QA professional with a strong construction and project background to contribute to the successful delivery of a new mining operation. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality systems, processes, and standards are effectively implemented across site activities, supporting compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Working on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and site teams to monitor quality performance, conduct inspections and audits, manage documentation, and ensure construction activities are delivered in accordance with approved specifications and project requirements.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance within major construction, mining, infrastructure, or heavy industry projects, with demonstrated experience supporting complex project delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance systems and processes across construction and infrastructure activities.
- Conduct quality inspections, audits, surveillance activities, and compliance reviews.
- Review construction documentation including ITPs, specifications, drawings, and quality records.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements.
- Identify, manage, and report quality risks, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, reporting, and project records.




- Work closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to promote quality excellence.

About You:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Quality Assurance Engineering role within mining, construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry projects.
- Demonstrated experience supporting major construction projects, ideally within a greenfield development environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation, construction specifications, and quality records.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work on a site-based 2/1 roster.
