The University of Newcastle is seeking a Legal Counsel to deliver pragmatic legal advice across commercial, property, employment, governance and regulatory matters. Drafting and negotiating contracts, identifying risks and supporting major university projects are core focuses of this full-time role based at Callaghan Campus.

The ideal candidate will hold a NSW practicing certificate with 4+ years post-qualification experience and demonstrate robust drafting, interpretive and problem-solving
