An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and growing commercial litigation practice in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of complex commercial disputes, insolvency-related litigation, shareholder and contractual disputes, debt recovery matters and enforcement proceedings. Working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, you will enjoy significant client contact, autonomy and responsibility while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative team environment. About the Role

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will:

- Manage a diverse range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters




- Run matters from commencement through to resolution, including court proceedings, mediations and settlement negotiations
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions and other court documents
- Advise clients on litigation risk, strategy and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with partners on complex and high-value disputes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Attend mediations, interlocutory hearings and court appearances
- Mentor and support junior lawyers where appropriate
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the practice

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- 2+ years PQE ( Associate) or 5+ years PQE ( SA) in commercial litigation
- Strong experience managing commercial dispute matters
- Excellent drafting, analytical and technical legal skills
- Experience appearing in courts, mediations or settlement conferences
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- A commercial mindset and strategic approach to dispute resolution
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships and progressing your career
