HSE & ISO Coordinator – Part-Time / Casual

Weldridge Constructions is seeking an experienced and organised HSE & ISO Coordinator to join our Brisbane team on a part-time or casual basis .

This is a flexible role suited to an HSE professional who enjoys working across both workplace health and safety and ISO management systems , with a mix of office-based coordination and support to our construction projects.

The Role

Working closely with management and our project teams, you will assist with the ongoing management, implementation and improvement of our HSE and ISO systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining and improving our HSE and Integrated Management System documentation.
- Supporting compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 .
- Preparing for and assisting with internal and external ISO audits.
- Maintaining policies, procedures, registers, forms and controlled documents.
- Conducting and assisting with site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Reviewing and assisting with SWMS and project safety documentation.
- Monitoring HSE compliance across our construction projects.
- Coordinating incident and near‑miss reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintaining training, competency, licence and compliance records.
- Assisting with subcontractor and worker HSE requirements.
- Monitoring corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing HSE and compliance reports for management.
- Providing practical HSE support and guidance to our project teams.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:





- Previous experience in an HSE, WHS, HSEQ or ISO coordination role .
- Experience within construction or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 .
- Sound knowledge of Queensland WHS requirements.
- Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident management.
- Strong document control and administration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with management, site teams and subcontractors.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of HSE and compliance tasks.

Relevant WHS qualifications, ISO auditing qualifications, White Card and a current driver's licence will be highly regarded.
