Moss Enterprises is seeking a Textile Designer to join our Collingwood design studio. In this full-time, office-based role, you'll work alongside our Designer to create commercially viable prints, weaves and jacquards for our premium bedding and soft furnishings range.

It's a hands-on role in a small studio, so you'll be involved across the full design and development process, from concept through to production, creating products for customers in Australia and overseas.

What you'll be doing

- Research fashion, interiors and colour trends to inform new concepts and collections
- Create original textile designs, including prints, weaves and jacquards
- Prepare artwork, repeats, colourways and CADs ready for sampling and production
- Maintain detailed design documentation and work closely with our offshore factory teams and production team through manufacturing
- Manage samples, lab dips and approvals
- Work with customers and buyers to create products aligned to their brand identity

What we're looking for

- Degree in Textile Design, a related creative field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years' experience as a Textile Designer, ideally in homewares
- Strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, including repeats and colourways; hand-drawing skills a bonus




- Knowledge of textile materials, production processes and trends; experience with wovens preferred but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of design for manufacturing
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience working with offshore factories preferred
- Australian work authorisation is required for this position
