We've built a large-scale commercial laundry servicing the accommodation industry on Bundjalung Country in Bangalow, in the heart of the NSW Northern Rivers. Every day, our team delivers fresh, high-quality linen for local hospital and accommodation partners while creating meaningful work and opportunity.

We're looking for a capable, people-centred Supervisor to lead daily production-floor operations. You'll keep workflow safe, efficient and on track, while helping a diverse team thrive in an inclusive workplace.

What will you do and what top strengths will you get to use?

You'll be a hands-on leader who brings energy, calm and care to a busy production environment. You'll lead Section Supervisors and Laundry Operators, work closely with the General Manager and Pathways Manager, and help turn daily targets into great outcomes for our people and customers.

You're personable and professional, comfortable working alongside the team on the floor. You're a solid team player who can also work productively on your own. Most of all, you're reliable, practical and ready to step in wherever needed to lead and support our team to get clean linen out the door. Commercial laundry experience highly regarded, but not essential.

What you'll do

- Lead daily laundry operations, production targets, workflow and quality standards.
- Coordinate staffing and tasks across the shift so work moves safely, smoothly and on time.
- Operate and oversee commercial laundry equipment, troubleshoot minor issues and **escalate maintenance needs.**
- Coach and support Section Supervisors and floor staff, including people who are new to the workforce.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture where people feel valued and capable.




- Drive a strong safety culture by monitoring workplace hazards, managing risk assessments, facilitating safety training, and ensuring timely reporting and follow-up of near misses.
- Act as the designated First Aid Officer, providing immediate assistance in the event of workplace injuries or medical incidents and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
- Respond constructively to performance concerns, wellbeing matters and workplace incidents, escalating when needed.
- Maintain shift records, including attendance, performance notes and production outcomes.
- Lead toolbox meetings, shift handovers and supervisor huddles.
- Contribute to production planning, rostering input, safety updates and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

- Experience supervising teams in a production or industrial environment.
- Commercial laundry experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Strong communication, leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety in an industrial setting.
- The ability to coach, motivate and support people from diverse backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy and resilience when responding to workplace challenges.
- An inclusive approach to people management.
