The Clinical Systems Specialist role ensures that the organisations clinical care systems and procedures are designed and delivered to support excellence in clinical services, consistent with the mission, philosophy, and values of the organisation.
Your ContributionEnsure the effective operation, maintenance and improvement of all Clinical Systems and Operational applications (including eCase, PPASS-3, Moving on Audits, Care Page, Clinical Dashboard, Choice Aged Care Clinical Dashboard).
Identify gaps in clinical practice and care delivery via quality data analysisProvide system reporting data to the executive team to enable key decision-makingProvide relevant system information, updates, coaching and ongoing support to all users to ensure compliance with the aged care standardsRequirementsExperience in residential aged careDemonstrated experience in using data to monitor performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives in a clinical settingExperience in mentoring and coaching staff in the use of clinical information systems.Extensive working knowledge with ECase Clinical Management SystemCurrent AHPRA registration as a health skilled or extensive aged care / healthcare industry experienceRelevant tertiary management or leadership qualifications (desirable)Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to project manage and provide advice on the implementation of complex systems and clinical software solutionsDemonstrated knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements for residential services and knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – a demonstrated ability to utilise Word, Excel, and Outlook.Exceptional customer service and/or stakeholder engagement skills.Willing and able to travel intrastate to various facilities as and when requiredA National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Up-to-date Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements (or willingness to obtain)Benefits As a Clinical Systems Specialist you will enjoy:Salary Packaging of up to $15,900 (tax-free) per year, on top of remunerationLearning & development opportunitiesStaff engagement & well-being focusEmployee assistance programGenerous leave entitlements-paid maternity leave, community service leave, natural disaster leave and family violence leavePersonal discounts across airfares, white goods, and pest control.
