With head office based in Sydney, they have been investing in infrastructure to support the next phase of business growth.An opportunity has now arisen for a proven Senior Underwriter to elevate and develop a portfolio focused on Construction in the Australian market.ResponsibilitiesAn initial focus on broker relationships and renewal business to ensure continued stability and then look toward new business quotesDeveloping the brand with Mid Market and International Brokers, using a variety of distribution tools to ensure market coverageAs a senior in the team you will assist those around you including Underwriters and Assistants,



supporting their professional development and exposing them to broker relationships and risk selectionManaging the portfolio long-term to ensure balance and maintain profitabilityCollaborate with fellow specialists within Engineering, Property and Long-Tail classes to provide full market coverageCandidate ProfileYou will be a proven Construction Underwriting qualified with some experience of mentoring staff.You will possess:Track record of underwriting within Contract Works specificallyStrong networks across both Corporate and Mid-Market BrokersA robust underwriting process for risk selectionAdvanced knowledge of Product & Portfolio ManagementDemonstrated stability within rolesCulture & BenefitsThis business offers a fantastic platform to build on your brand and reputation whilst providing you with the tools and support to be successful.
