Summary:

The Community Support Worker will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals within the community. This position requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can effectively communicate and build relationships with diverse populations. The Community Support Worker will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the well-being and integration of individuals into the community.

Responsibilities:
Assist older people and people with a disability living independently in the community with activities relating to personal wellbeing, household management, and lifestyle, including:
personal hygiene, grooming and presentation
general household, cleaning and environmental maintenance tasks
activities of interest in the home and local community




activities related to the maintenance or improvement of health and wellbeing
other reasonable requests made by the Client

Qualifications:
Certificate III or Cert IV in Aged Care or Disability
First Aid Certificate
Proven experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or other support needs.
Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and communication purposes.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
