The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experiences against these essential role requirements of the Team Leader leadership stream:

Experience and understanding of the assessment, risk management and case management of high risk and responsible offenders;
Demonstrated community and stakeholder engagement and relationship management, including with special interest groups at a senior management level;
Solid management capabilities with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage others to meet high standards.
Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of offender assessment intervention and treatment planning;
Demonstrated ability to provide operational and strategic advice in relation to sentence management functions for prisoners

or referred for consideration for, maximum security order management;
Demonstrated high level communication and interpretation skills, including negotiation, and conflict resolution skills for liaising with management and staff at all levels, to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources, and other relevant issues; and
Demonstrated knowledge, interpretation, and application of legislation, policies and procedures.
