CivilworX is seeking experienced Machine Operators for an Excavators, Compactor, Dozer , Articulated Dump Truck and Backhoe to join our growing team in Thomastown, VIC. This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of plant and machinery on construction sites, contributing directly to project timelines and quality outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects whilst developing your expertise in plant operation within a professional and safety-focused setting.

Key responsibilities
Operate a range of construction plant and machinery with accordance with site requirements
Conduct pre-operation safety inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on assigned machinery




Adhere to all health and safety regulations, site protocols and company procedures whilst operating machinery
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, crew members and other operators to ensure safe and coordinated operations
Maintain accurate records of machine operation, fuel consumption and any maintenance issues or incidents
Position and manoeuvre machinery with precision to meet construction specifications and project requirements
Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and report maintenance needs to supervisors
Contribute to a safe and skilled work environment by following all site inductions and safety briefings
