Owner Driver – Refrigerated Van | Contract Food Deliveries

We’re seeking reliable owner drivers with their own refrigerated van to carry out food deliveries across Perth.

We want to build a network of dependable contractors and develop long-term working relationships as our business grows.

About the opportunity

This is a contract chance paid per delivery. It is not full-time employment or guaranteed regular work. Initially, there may be approximately one delivery per week. We anticipate delivery volumes increasing quickly as we grow, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Availability between 7am and midday is preferred, with afternoon availability also required for some jobs. Rates will be discussed and agreed before each delivery.

Responsibilities
Collect flour bags from Malaga and deliver them to customer stores.
Collect multiple 15kg cartons of chips and other stock from Belmont and other Perth locations.
Complete multiple supplier pickups when required.
Deliver to pizza shops, kebab stores, bakeries and other food businesses.
Safely load, unload and move stock into customers’ premises.
Place products in designated storage areas, including fridges and freezers.




Follow customer instructions for delivery entrances, access points and stock placement.

Requirements
Your own reliable refrigerated van.
Your own heavy-duty trolley.
A valid driver’s licence.
The physical ability to safely handle flour bags, 15kg cartons and other stock.
A willingness to take stock inside and put it away as instructed.
Solid communication, punctuality and a skilled approach.

We would like to speak directly with suitable owner drivers over the phone to discuss pricing, delivery requirements and an ongoing working relationship.

Please read the requirements carefully and apply only if you meet them and understand that work will be occasional initially.

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour
