We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a well-established steel manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role requiring a safety-focused and reliable individual to assist with the lifting, movement and positioning of steel products across a busy warehouse and yard environment.

THE ROLE
Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move and position steel products
Sling, secure and transport loads in accordance with safety procedures
Conduct thorough pre-start checks and report equipment faults or hazards
Work alongside production and yard teams to ensure productive material handling
Assist with production and warehouse duties as required
Follow strict quality and safety standards in the workplace

REQUIREMENTS
Valid forklift licence and minimum 2 years experience
Previous experience operating overhead/ gantry cranes highly advantageous
Experience handling steel, sheet metal or heavy industrial materials preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties




Solid sense of safety and communication in the workplace
