Metal Fabricator – Steel Fabrication & MIG Welding Wetherill Park
Monday–Friday | 6:00am–2:06pm -Ongoing Role
We are currently seeking a Metal Fabricator to join a busy industrial workshop in Wetherill Park.
This is a hands-on role working within the truck and vehicle body manufacturing industry, fabricating and assembling steel components and structures. The successful candidate will be confident working with steel, reading measurements and using workshop tools and equipment.

About the Role
Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:06pm
Ongoing work for the right candidate
Hands-on fabrication and assembly work
Working with steel and metal components
MIG welding and fabrication of truck/vehicle body components
Cutting, grinding, drilling and fitting steel
Using hand and power tools
Measuring, marking and preparing materials
Working from drawings, measurements and specifications
General workshop duties and maintaining a secure, tidy work area

What We're Looking For
Previous steel fabrication experience – essential




MIG welding experience – essential
Ability to fabricate, assemble and fit steel components
Confident using grinders, drills and other workshop power tools
Able to read measurements and follow fabrication requirements
Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy workshop workplace
Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
PERM resident preferred but will look at ongoing work rights
Trade qualification highly regarded, but strong practical experience will also be considered
Competitive hourly pay rates available

The Industry You will be working in an established truck and vehicle body manufacturing environment, producing and assembling specialised steel and metal components for commercial vehicles.
