QE Innovations is an Australian owned and operated business exclusively representing equipment known for its outstanding quality and reliability, such as THIELE, Gruenewald, Betek, Hauhinco and Parker Conflow. Having secured a number of long term projects, they are now looking to grow their team within the business, seeking a First class CNC machinist to join the permanent night shift team on a full time permanent basis.

The role:
Permanent night shift with plenty of overtime available
Carry out all work in a safe manner in accordance with OH&S; requirements
Operate a large 5 axis milling and turning CNC machine
Provide quality machining and assembly in a timely fashion
Assemble and operate machine tool s to shape and form metal stock to fine tolerances
Read detailed drawings and specifications
Ensure the products are safe to handle
On time delivery of components with quality workmanship
Programming and detailed reporting
Problem solve and fault find issues





The work is diverse but jobs are of a similar nature which provides the satisfaction of being able to competently handle a complete project from commencement to completion.

About you:
You’ll have 5+ years experience in CNC operation and/or CAM programming
A high level of interpersonal skills with a friendly outgoing attitude, be decisive and work well within a team workplace
Take pride and ownership in completing all work to the highest trade standards.
Applicants with a current forklift, rigging and/or dogging licence would be an advantage (but not essential)

The successful candidate will be based in the Port Kembla NSW workshop on a permanent night shift basis. Large overtime hours at penalty rates are available.

This role is available for immediate start.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $37.00 – $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
