Doughkyo Pty Ltd is a Japanese-inspired bakery retail shop that is home to some of Sydney’s best Japanese baked goods, offering a delightful range of sweet and savoury breads and pastries. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our amazing team at our Parramatta store.

Location:

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
At least a Certificate III in Baking or Bread Baking, or an equivalent qualification
At least one years of practical working experience as a Baker
Knowledge and experience in Japanese or Asian-style baking will be highly regarded
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a visa permitting full time work in Australia

About the Role

As our Baker, you will be employed on a full time basis, working 38 hours per week across 5 days. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area and equipment before production




Reviewing and preparing baking ingredients and materials before production
Measuring and mixing ingredients to produce a variety of bakery products
Weighing materials to ensure the correct quantity for each product
Cutting and portioning dough evenly to maintain product consistency
Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times during production
Inspecting the quality of finished products before displaying them for sale
Cleaning and maintaining baking and cooking equipment after use

Remuneration

The salary offered for this position is between $76,000 and $82,000 per annum plus superannuation.
