As a Deli Assistant at our Warrandyte retail location, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting in the preparation and presentation of our deli products. Your contributions will ensure that our customers enjoy a high-quality shopping experience, reinforcing our commitment to quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities:
Assist customers with their deli selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present deli products, including meats, cheeses, and salads, in an appealing manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management,



ensuring that products are fresh and available.
Collaborate with team members to promote special offers.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a retail or food service workplace is preferred.
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Basic food handling knowledge and a commitment to food safety standards.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends (4 Days per month) and public holidays on a rotating basis.
