This is a hands-on position combining multiple specialized rail equipment maintenance, commissioning and repairs. Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support across specialized rail equipment. Working across multiple Pilbara rail sites, you will help maintain the safety, reliability and performance of specialist rail plant and equipment.
Key responsibilities
Repair, commission and maintain specialized Rail equipment
Perform scheduled and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs
Respond to breakdowns and minimize machine/equipment downtime
Conduct pre-starts, inspections and performance testing
Assist with multi-trade maintenance activities
Complete inspection,
fault and maintenance documentation
Travel between operational sites as part of our mobile Rail Maintenance Operations team
Maintain compliance with rail safety standards and procedures
About you
Trade Qualification and experience as an Electrician or Mechanical fitter
Must have previous experience repairing and maintaining equipment
