Ready to take the next step in your food manufacturing career?
We’re a rapidly growing food manufacturing business looking for a driven and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our team and help take our operation to the next level.
This isn’t a role where you simply watch the production line. You’ll be at the heart of the operation — leading people, driving performance, solving problems and making sure every shift delivers safety, quality, efficiency and output.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to get the best out of a team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
If you're ready to lead a team, make a real impact and grow with an expanding business, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day production operation, ensuring the team delivers safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating production staff across daily operations
Coordinating production schedules and ensuring targets are achieved
Monitoring output, efficiency, waste and downtime
Maintaining consistently high standards of product quality
Ensuring food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are followed
Training,
coaching and developing team members
Managing day-to-day performance, attendance and team issues
Identifying prospects to improve productivity and reduce waste
Working closely with Quality, Warehouse and Management
Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
Supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation
Ensuring the production area is clean, organised and audit-ready
About You
You’re an experienced production leader who enjoys people, pace and performance.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or similar within food manufacturing
Strong knowledge of food manufacturing and food safety requirements
Proven experience leading, rostering and developing production teams
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A solid focus on quality, safety, waste & productivity
The ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced workplace
A hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
Experience working within HACCP and food safety systems
Must have a current forklift license
First Aid and Food Safety Certificate would be advantageous but not essential
