Job Title: Materials & Warehousing Coordinator Location: Perth, WA (Warehouse-Based) Employment Type: Contract – 6 to 8 Months Sector: Oil & Gas / Energy / LogisticsAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Materials & Warehousing Coordinator for a 6–8 month assignment based at our client's warehouse facility in Perth.
This is a key operational role supporting the day-to-day movement, control, and visibility of critical materials and equipment for an active oil and gas project.The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of oil and gas logistics, warehousing operations, and freight coordination, alongside proven expertise using SAP S/4HANA for inventory and materials tracking.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound movements of equipment and materials in alignment with project schedules and operational needsManage warehousing operations including receipt, storage, dispatch, and stock control activitiesMaintain accurate records in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring traceability and real-time visibility of inventory and logistics statusLiaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and vendors to manage delivery schedules and documentationPerform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepanciesEnsure compliance with HSE standards, load restraint guidelines,



and material handling proceduresSupport mobilisation and demobilisation of drilling and project materials as requiredInterface with internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, drilling, operations) to ensure materials readinessIdeal Candidate ProfileMinimum 5 years' experience in a materials coordination or warehouse logistics role within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectorsSolid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA for materials and inventory management – mandatoryExperience with oil and gas materials handling, project logistics, and warehouse operationsStrong attention to detail, organised and proactive approach to daily operationsUnderstanding of dangerous goods, freight forwarding, and Australian transport compliance (preferred)Ability to work independently within a small site-based team environmentForklift licence or load restraint certifications advantageousBenefitsWhy Join?
