Chiosco by Ormeggio, situated at d’Albora Marina in Mosman, is a thriving Italian trattoria known for its classic cuisine and relaxed, BYO-friendly atmosphere. Proudly run by the highly esteemed Two-Hatted Ormeggio team, we are currently seeking a talented Chef de Partie eager to grow and advance their career in a rapid-paced, supportive kitchen workplace.

Our venue operates seven days a week and offers à la carte service, group events, takeaway options from our kiosk, and boat catering packages. As a Chef de Partie at Chiosco, you can expect a variety of working hours, including weekends.

What We’re Looking For:
Full Australian working rights
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Formal cooking qualification
Strong verbal communication skills in English
Experience with Italian cuisine essential
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and thrive in a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute




Excellent attention to detail
A passion for food and delivering outstanding customer experiences
Completion of NSW Food Handlers course

Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications:
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience on the hot/grill section
Expertise in pasta fresca
Experience with Italian seafood preparation

Key Responsibilities:
Consistently high-quality food preparation and cooking
Support with menu planning, recipe development, training, and implementation
Maintain cost control and kitchen efficiency within budget
