Consultant Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent | Adaptable FTE Perth-based | Statewide Virtual Service We're partnering with a leading public health service to recruit an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a specialist Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service delivering care across regional and remote Western Australia.This is a unique opportunity to work within a statewide, virtual specialist model, supporting children, young people, and families while collaborating closely with regional teams on complex and high-impact cases.Available opportunitiesConsultant Psychiatrist – Sessional (0.4 FTE)(1 session = 4 hours)Consultant Psychiatrist + Head of Department – 0.6 FTE (5-year term)Flexible arrangements available: part-time, sessional or tailored FTEAbout the serviceThis specialist hub provides advanced, virtual mental health care to children and young people aged 0–18 across regional WA.
Working in partnership with local ICAMHS teams, the service focuses on:Specialist psychiatric assessment and treatmentConsultation and shared care with regional cliniciansClinical leadership and workforce capability buildingSupporting culturally responsive, trauma-informed care modelsThe roleAs a Consultant Psychiatrist,
