Be Part of the Team.Design Sheetmetal is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Truck Driver to join our team in Bayswater, Victoria.As a trusted manufacturer of quality sheet metal products, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable service and high-quality solutions to our customers.
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road, building customer relationships, and being part of a hands-on operations team.About the RoleWorking Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding areas.
With approximately 10 to 20 deliveries per day, this role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.You will be the face of the business, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and handled with care.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any issues Conduct multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne metro and surrounding areasSafely handle and carry sheet metal products into customer sitesEnsure products are delivered accurately and without damageFollow Chain of Responsibility (COR)



requirements and transport regulationsMaintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicleCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding deliveriesManage delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issuesFollow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standardsProvide professional and reliable customer service at every deliveryAbout YouYou are a dependable and safety-conscious driver who takes pride in representing the business and delivering great customer service.You'll bring:Current Victorian MR Driver Licence or higherMinimum 2 years' truck driving experienceClean driving history and robust safety recordExperience completing multi-drop deliveriesGood knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding areasAbility to safely handle manual lifting and physical tasksStrong understanding of workplace health and safety practicesReliable attendance, punctuality, and a solid work ethicGood communication skills and a positive attitudeSuccessful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.Why Join Design Sheetmetal?
