About the role

This Psychiatry position is based within a large tertiary hospital in North Queensland, offering strong university and research affiliations.



The successful applicant will provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical psychiatric services across hospital, community and outreach settings, with opportunities to contribute to research and the education and training of future health professionals.

Key responsibilities include leading and delivering specialist mental health services in accordance with professional standards, ethical practice and relevant health policies, while supporting adult community teams and/or acute inpatient services.
Working within a cooperative multidisciplinary setting, the successful applicant will benefit from a robust collegial culture and comprehensive clinical and operational support.
