Façade and Roof Package LeadAbout the RoleAs a Façade and Roof Package Lead, you'll take ownership of the development, coordination and delivery of facade and roofing packages, working closely with Project Leads, architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
You'll help translate ambitious architectural concepts into coordinated, buildable and high-quality solutions while ensuring the original design intent is maintained throughout project delivery.
The role requires a strong understanding of facade and roof systems, interfaces, detailing and multidisciplinary coordination, alongside the ability to confidently lead a complex architectural package and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be engaged in?
As a Façade and Roof Package Lead, you will: Contribute to the design, documentation, specification and delivery of complex architectural projectsTake ownership of and lead facade and roof packages, coordinating their development from design through documentation and deliveryDevelop, modify and review architectural details, drawings and documentation relating to building envelopes, facades and roofingWork closely with Project Leads to ensure facade and roof solutions maintain the overall architectural vision and design intentCoordinate architectural interfaces between facade, roof, structure, services, waterproofing and other building elements.Collaborate with clients, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical and design requirementsCoordinate and review information from facade engineers, structural engineers and other specialist consultantsIdentify design and coordination issues early and work collaboratively with the wider project team to develop appropriate solutionsParticipate in design reviews, coordination meetings, workshops and stakeholder presentationsReview drawings, models,



mark-ups and specialist information to ensure alignment with architectural intent and project requirementsManage assigned tasks and package deliverables to meet project timelines and quality expectationsBuild solid working relationships with clients, consultants and internal project teamsContribute to broader architectural design, documentation and project delivery activities as requiredWhat we are looking for To succeed in this role, you will bring: Master's degree in Architecture from a recognised universityCurrent Architectural Registration in Australia (Preferred), or able to get registered in the next 12 monthsApproximately 5-10 years' professional experience, or equivalent, within an architectural practiceAbility to work with Rhino (and Grasshopper preferred) as well as strong BIM and Revit capabilityKnowledge of the NCC and Façade related Australian standardsAbility to hand sketch confidently for technical and buildable designsConfidently able to present technical and design related issues to clients and stakeholdersStrong architectural design, technical delivery and documentation capabilityDemonstrated experience working on facade, roof and/or building envelope packagesExperience developing and coordinating complex architectural details and interfacesStrong problem-solving skills, technical attention to detail and a solution-focused approachAbility to take ownership of significant architectural packages while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamExperience working on complex or large-scale sports, entertainment, aviation or major public projects beneficial At Populous, we're not only looking for technical skills but also for people who share our passion for creating places where communities come together.
