Hunters Hill Lodge is a vibrant Retirement Community of serviced apartments nestled between the convenience of Hunters Hill shopping village and the splendid vista of Tarban Bay.

Reporting to the Village Manager, we’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to provide maintenance and handyman services to our boutique 49-unit retirement village part time 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, repairs and inspections across common property, resident units, plant, equipment, grounds and gardens
Establish, implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and inspection programs
Respond to maintenance requests from residents, Village Management and staff in a timely and skilled manner
Liaise with, supervise and coordinate external trades and contractors, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, policies and procedures




Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems and mobile applications
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption
Contribute to a positive community environment

Skills and Requirements
Trade qualification in building, carpentry, plumbing and/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft applications, apps and maintenance systems
Proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently
Resilience, empathy and confidence when working with residents
Flexibility with start and finish times when required
Experience working in aged care or retirement living
