Key responsibilities
Providing day-to-day care and support in a residential setting
Building positive and skilled relationships with children and young people
Supporting participation in education, employment, recreation, and community activities
Assisting young people to develop independent living and life skills
Maintaining accurate records and reports
Working collaboratively with families, carers, case workers, and other stakeholders
Implementing individual crisis support plans and behavioural support strategies

About you
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively within a team, and independently
An understanding of trauma-informed care
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Cert IV Child & Family Intervention (or Willingness to Enroll)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver License
