About the role
Setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Setting tools, work offsets and machining parameters
Producing first-off components and completing dimensional inspections
Using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and bore gauges
Monitoring tooling and making adjustments where required
Maintaining consistent quality across production runs
Completing basic machine maintenance and keeping the work area organised
Working closely with production,



engineering and quality teams

About you
Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner, Machinist or equivalent machining qualification
Previous experience working as a CNC Machinist
Solid CNC setup and operating experience
Ability to confidently read engineering drawings
Good understanding of tolerances, fits and machining practices
Competence using precision measuring equipment
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A strong attitude towards workplace safety
