Roomstay (SaaS) and Dijitally (agency) operate across Australia, the UK, and Ireland with multi-entity, multi-currency finance operations.
We are hiring a hands-on Finance Manage to take full ownership of the finance function across both businesses.This role is suited to a commercially minded accountant who can run finance operations end-to-end, improve structure, and provide clear financial insight to leadership.
This is not a traditional finance role focused only on reporting — this role is responsible for bringing control, structure, and visibility to the entire finance function.Core Responsibilities1.
End-to-End Finance OwnershipTake full ownership of finance operations across both businessesManage and execute:Invoicing across multiple entitiesBank and card reconciliationsAccounts receivable and collectionsSupplier payments and payment runsMaintain accurate, clean, and up-to-date records in XeroManage multi-entity and multi-currency transactions (including FX platforms such as Airwallex or equivalent)2.
Payroll & ComplianceOversee payroll for an international teamEnsure compliance with:BAS / GST / PAYG obligationsPayroll and statutory requirementsCoordinate with external accountants for filings and statutory reporting3.
Monthly Reporting (Decision-Focused)Produce management reporting pack including:Revenue by entity and key driversGross margin (particularly for agency delivery)Operating costs and profitabilityCash position and movementEnsure reporting is:ClearStructuredDecision-ready (not just accounting outputs)4.
Cashflow & ForecastingBuild and maintain a rolling cashflow forecastsProvide visibility on:Expected inflows and outflowsCash risks and constraintsWorking capital requirements5.




Commercial Finance & InsightAct as a finance partner to the founder:Identify client / project profitabilityTrack SaaS revenue performanceHighlight margin leakage and cost inefficienciesProvide proactive insight, not just reporting6.
Process & Control Design and implement structured finance processes across both businessesImprove efficiency and reduce manual workEnsure consistency across multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactionsIntroduce clear ownership and accountability across finance activitiesFinance Ownership & Operating ModelThis role is accountable for owning and structuring the entire finance function.The successful candidate will:Take full ownership of invoicing, payroll, and financial operations end-to-endRemove reliance on founder involvement in day-to-day finance processesReplace meeting-driven workflows with structured, system-led processesEstablish explicit ownership between account management and finance teamsEnsure invoicing, collections, and payroll operate consistently without manual coordinationIdentify inefficiencies and redesign workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and controlCross-Team Workflow OwnershipOwn the interface between account management and financeEnsure revenue inputs from delivery teams are accurate, timely, and structuredRemove reliance on meetings to validate invoicing inputsImplement clear, repeatable workflows for billing and revenue recognitionThe skills and experience we're looking for are:Qualified accountant (CA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)5+ years' experience in Finance Manager / Financial Controller roleStrong experience with XeroExperience working across multi-entity structures and multi-currency environmentsHands-on mindset (comfortable executing as well as overseeing)Strong Excel / Google Sheets capabilityHighly DesirableExperience in agency / services businessesExperience in SaaS or subscription-based revenue modelsExperience managing offshore or outsourced finance supportFamiliarity with Airwallex, Wise, or FX platformsWorking SetupThis is a part-time role, working 2-3 days per week in a fully remote environment, reporting to the founder.
