About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established business operating within the electronic security industry.

This is a genuine new-business-focused position suited to a proven hunter who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and converting opportunities into recent customers and projects.

You'll be selling tailored security solutions and project-based work, rather than simply selling products, with solid technical support available internally.
$90k - $110k + Super (Negotiable on experience)
Fully maintained company vehicle
Attractive and uncapped commission structure
Genuine new-business-focused BDM position
Sell complete solutions and project-based work
Established and growing business

Duties
Identify and develop recent business opportunities
Prospect and engage prospective commercial customers




Build a robust pipeline of new clients and project opportunities
Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions
Work with internal teams to develop proposals and project solutions
Manage opportunities from initial contact through to close
Achieve agreed sales and new-business targets

Experience
Solid hunter mentality with demonstrated new-business success
Electronic security industry experience highly regarded
Electrical, technical or solutions-based sales experience also considered
Proven BDMs from other commercial industries encouraged to apply
Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
