About your new roleWe're looking for a Production & Distribution Assistant to join our Melbourne roastery team based in Reservoir, helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and our coffee making its way to customers across Australia.Working across production, packing and distribution, you'll be right in the middle of the action, preparing customer orders, keeping stock moving and lending a hand with the roasting process.
It's a hands-on role for someone who likes being on their feet, working alongside a great team and taking pride in getting things done well.A day in the lifePrepare and pack finished products ready to make their way to our customersKeep things moving on the packaging line, packing bagged coffee into boxesCheck inbound deliveries and accurately count, record and report stock movementsLend a hand loading green coffee into the roasting process, including handling sacks and bulk bagsHelp keep the roastery tidy, organised and running smoothlyFollow health, safety and manual handling procedures to keep yourself and the team safePitch in with the team wherever needed because no two days in the roastery are exactly the sameAbout youIf you've spent some time in warehousing, production or packaging, even better.
An interest in specialty coffee definitely helps too.




You'll be someone who:Has experience in warehousing and/or packaging line operationsHas a good eye for detail and takes pride in getting things rightIs comfortable using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheetsBrings a positive, collaborative attitude and is always happy to pitch inIs able to safely lift and move loads of up to 18kgIs comfortable safely handling *****kg green coffee sacks using the appropriate equipmentHas a solid focus on safety and looks out for the people around themA valid driver's licence and reliable transport are preferred, and a forklift licence and/or reach forklift experience is a bonus.
