We’re seeking a skilled, motivated Boilermaker/Fitter to join our advanced manufacturing team in Thornton, NSW. This hands‑on role suits someone who thrives in a contemporary, innovative workplace. You’ll deliver high‑quality fabrication, welding and fitting projects while gaining experience with robotic welding technology. Experience fabricating structural steel and pipework is essential.

Key responsibilities
Fabricate and weld pipework, plate and structural steel
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Measure, cut, prepare and assemble steel components
Operate welding equipment safely and to a high standard
Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with WHS standards
Help set up, operate and troubleshoot robotic welding systems
Assemble valves, flanges and fittings onto prefabricated pipework
Perform basic mechanical fitting and maintenance
Support lean manufacturing and improve workshop efficiency

Requirements
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Fitter (required)
Proven fabrication and welding skills; FCAW and GMAW proficiency required, with GTAW or MMAW experience highly regarded




Ability to interpret technical and engineering drawings
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
Positive, team‑oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Legal right to work in Australia

Highly Regarded (but not essential)
Experience with robotic welding or automated manufacturing systems (highly regarded)
Knowledge of modern manufacturing workflows and lean practices (highly regarded)
Current forklift licence (highly regarded)
Current MR truck licence (highly regarded)
