Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, plans and specifications.
Measuring, marking and setting out work accurately.
Cutting, shaping and assembling timber and other construction materials.
Constructing and installing frames, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows and other structures.
Installing skirting boards, architraves, mouldings, cabinetry and other finishing components.
Installing timber flooring, decking, stairs and other carpentry features.
Using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely and correctly.
Carrying out repairs, maintenance and renovation work.
Checking completed work for accuracy, quality and compliance with plans.
Working with other trades and construction workers to coordinate building activities.
Maintaining tools, equipment and the work area in a clean and secure condition.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
