Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Draftsperson to join our engineering team in Sydney. This permanent, full time position is crucial for the development and execution of high-quality civil and structural designs. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contributing to cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise steel detailing, shop/fabrication drawings, and connection details using CAD/BIM software.
Develop concrete detailing for reinforced elements like slabs, beams, columns, and footings.
Document timber design layouts, framing, and connections compliant with Australian Standards.
Check drawings for accuracy, produce bills of materials, and manage revisions per QA/QC processes.
Liaise with engineers, fabricators,



and site teams to interpret specs and resolve issues

Qualifications:
2–5 years experience in civil/structural drafting with proven expertise in steel detailing, fabrication drawings, timber design, and concrete details.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); experience with Revit, Tekla, or Advance Steel highly desirable.
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
Experience in storm water drainage detailing is a must
Solid knowledge of Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS for steel fabrication, concrete, and timber
BIM modeling and 3D detailing experience (Desirable)
Familiarity with project delivery in Sydney/NSW construction market (Desirable)
