Experienced Civil Labourers, Pipelayers & Excavator Operators

$48-$53 per hour, depending on experience | EBA conditions | Sydney projects

Wilken Service Pty Ltd is an ASP1 contractor based in Caringbah. We're looking for experienced civil labourers, pipelayers and excavator operators to join our team on electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney.

What you’ll be doing
Hand excavating, trenching, backfilling and installing conduits
Assisting plant operators and acting as a spotter
Using hand and power tools and carrying out general civil construction work
Operating excavators around live services, if applying as an operator
Working with your crew to complete jobs safely and efficiently

What you’ll need
Construction White Card
MR or HR driver's licence
Current Australian work rights
Civil construction experience and a willingness to undertake physical, hands-on work
A reliable attitude,



positive attendance and the ability to follow site directions
A practical understanding of workplace health and safety

Excavator operators must have at least two years' experience trenching around live services. Defence Force experience is also welcome.

What Wilken offers
$48-$53 per hour, depending on experience
EBA conditions, superannuation and applicable overtime penalty rates
A 40-hour week, with two hours accrued towards a monthly RDO
Annual leave, personal/carer's leave and long service leave entitlements
Rain day provisions
Supplied PPE, including safety boots, hard hat and high-visibility ARC-rated clothing
Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy electrical safety training
3 months initial work to full time dependent on performance
Prospects to develop your skills and progress within the company

Day and night shifts, as well as weekend work, may be required depending on the project.
