Facilities Operations Manager (6 months + temp role initially)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Operations Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management programs, maintenance services, contracts, minor projects and asset strategies across a large and complex South Australian property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Lead preventative and reactive maintenance programs.

Manage facilities service providers and key contracts.

Oversee asset lifecycle planning, budgets and compliance.

Provide expert facilities and property management advice.

Drive operational improvements, risk management and customer service outcomes.

Build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple sites and regions.

Lead and develop a small facilities team.

Skills & experience

Proven experience in facilities, property or asset management (minimum 3 years+)

Solid contractor, stakeholder and budget management skills.

Experience delivering maintenance programs and facility-related projects.

Excellent problem-solving,



communication and leadership capabilities.

Knowledge of building compliance, WHS and facilities management practices.

You must be located and living currently in South Australia, able to start with short notice and have a current police clearance and full working rights.
