Customer Service and Sales Representative

From construction sites to weddings, we keep Victoria’s sites and celebrations running. Benkel Hire is a long-standing name in portable site services. Black Tie Toilets is our premium events brand. Together we deliver the full service, from first enquiry through to collection.

A growing businesses with a big focus on our people and on doing things better. We’re investing in recent systems and smarter ways of working, including the upcoming introduction of a recent software systems, our new job management system. We’re looking for someone with drive and ambition who wants to grow their career with us and be part of that change from the ground up.

The role

You’ll be part of our customer service and sales team, working side by side to be the first voice our customers hear and to turn their enquiries into bookings. Every day is different. You’ll:
Handle inbound calls and emails across both brands, from site hire to weddings and events
Prepare quotes and follow them up to convert enquiries into sales
Get on the phone to past and prospective customers to win repeat and new business
Book and coordinate hire, servicing and pump‑out jobs with our operations team
Keep customer and job records accurate, and help us introduce and embed Field Insight,



our new job management system
Look after invoicing, payments and account follow‑up

About you

You don’t need years in our industry. We’ll teach you the products and systems, and you’ll bring the motivation and drive. Here’s what we’re looking for:You’ll bring:
At least 2 years’ customer service experience, whether in retail, hospitality, sales, reception or a similar customer‑facing role
Real drive and motivation, with the ambition to build a career in sales and customer service
Confidence on the phone, and you’re not afraid to ask for the business
A competitive streak that keeps you following up until the job is booked
Enthusiasm for change and current technology, and you pick things up quickly
An organised, positive, can‑do approach in a busy team
