Full Job Description

You will join a major disaster recovery project in the Townsville region, supporting the delivery of critical transport infrastructure works. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring construction activities meet required quality, technical and project standards.

Your focus will be heavily QA-oriented, working closely with project teams and contractors to monitor compliance, documentation and construction outcomes. This is a Monday to Friday prospect offered initially on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery and quality assurance of site construction works
Monitor works against project specifications, standards and requirements
Manage QA documentation, inspections, records and compliance processes
Identify and address quality issues throughout project delivery
Work collaboratively with construction teams, contractors and stakeholders
Support site reporting, progress tracking and project documentation

About you




Experience as a Site Engineer within civil infrastructure or roadworks
Robust understanding of QA processes and construction documentation
Experience working within government transport infrastructure projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a project delivery workplace
