This is a senior, hands‐on role providing security guidance across the organisation's technology programs.The role:Provide risk-based cyber security advice, assessments and assurance across technology projects, systems and servicesReview recent products, services, applications and infrastructure solutions, recommending fit‐for‐purpose controlsAdvise project and technology teams on secure design and implementationSupport cyber security governance — policies,



standards and proceduresContribute to security awareness and training initiativesWhat you'll bring:Strong working knowledge of the ASD Essential Eight (and familiarity with ISO *****************, NIST, ISM)Hands‐on experience securing Microsoft Azure / Entra ID environments, including network securitySolid background in cyber security advisory, risk assessment, assurance or governanceExperience reviewing applications, systems and infrastructure from a security lensCISSP, CISA or CISM highly regarded; OT security knowledge a plusWhy apply:Broad mandate and visibility across all major technology programsMeaningful public‐sector impactStrong day rate for a 12‐month engagement with genuine scope to shape security outcomesCandidates must be Sydney-based and hold PR or Citizenship.
