Senior Legal Counsel/Manager Risk – St Vincent's Health AustraliaWe are seeking a highly motivated lawyer to provide legal advice and support to the New South Wales hospitals of St Vincent's Health Australia.
This is a permanent full time role based at St Vincent's Darlinghurst, with responsibilities across multiple sites including St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney, Sacred Heart Health Service, The Mater Hospital North Sydney, and St Vincent's Private Community Hospital Griffith.ResponsibilitiesReport to and work closely with the Executive Director of Legal and RiskManage and provide direction to one Risk SpecialistProvide legal advice including under various legislation in respect of key risk exposuresSupport compliance across all relevant legislative requirements within areas of responsibilityCoordinate responses to subpoenas and assist with the management of claimsDraft, review, and advise on a range of contracts across the organisationWork with the research office to review a range of research contracts including clinical trial agreementsWork with the Senior Leadership Team on the evaluation and structuring of business opportunitiesAbout YouAt least 6 years' experience as a lawyer drafting, reviewing and advising on contractsGood attention to detailExcellent drafting skillsAbility to work under pressure and tight timelinesAbility to coordinate with all levels of management and to provide commercial solutions to problemsAbility to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholdersWhy work at St Vincent's?
