ZIMMERMANN is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Design Room Assistants to join our Design team on a casual basis.
This is an exciting chance to gain hands‐on experience in a fast‐paced luxury fashion environment and support the design process from concept through to production.Key Responsibilities:Assisting the design team with day-to-day tasks in the design room to support the development of seasonal collectionsCreating and updating tech sketches in line with designer direction, ensuring accuracy and attention to detailUndertaking hand sewing, and sample cutting to support fittings and sample developmentProducing paper dollies for placement artwork, embroidery layouts, and cutting instructionsAssisting with garment preparation for fittings, including steaming, labelling, and organising samplesRunning errands as required, including deliveries and collections from local dyers, printers, and fabric or trim suppliersOrganising and maintaining samples,
