MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT RESTRICTED TOStock control for Kitchen operationsQuality control of meals being served to customersBack of house rostering and staff managementDeveloping menu offerings in conjunction with managementEnsure kitchen meets all required health, safety and other regulationsEstimating food and labour costs,



and ordering food suppliesMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationDiscussing food preparation issues with Managers and other kitchen team membersDemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking proceduresPreparing and cooking foodExplaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsMay select and train other team membersAny other tasks deemed suitable by managementEXPERIENCE Previous chef/cook experience, Cert III/IV and 2 years work experience or at least 3 years relevant experience (ideal but not necessarily required)PERFORMANCE GOALSTo be defined with management on an ongoing basisSCHEDULE7 Day operationMorning shift, Afternoon shift, Day shift, Evening shiftFlexible hoursRotating rosterAvailable positions for causal, part time & full-timeWORK LOCATIONSLast Slice MidlandPERKSEmployee DiscountStaff functionsFlexible rostersCareer growth opportunities with multiple stores
