recalls and patient flowSupporting patient finance discussions, accounts and insurance processingMonitoring practice KPIs, financial reporting and operational performanceCoordinating laboratories, stock control and bankingOverseeing infection-control systems and standardsManaging patient and team concerns calmly and professionallyIdentifying opportunities to improve systems and processesEnsuring improvement projects are followed through to completionWorking closely with the owner and Treatment Coordinator to support continued growthThe kind of leader they're looking forYou don't need to be the loudest person in the room to be a strong leader.You may be warm, calm and approachable—but you are also confident enough to make decisions, establish boundaries and have difficult conversations when required.You genuinely care about your team, but you also understand that kindness and accountability must work together.You will ideally bring:At least two years of relevant experienceDental Practice Management or senior dental leadership experiencePrevious experience within an Australian dental practiceStrong people‐leadership and communication skillsConfidence working with budgets, KPIs and practice performanceExcellent organisation and attention to detailThe ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environmentA calm and solutions‐focused approach under pressureWarm, professional and culturally aware communicationCore Practice experience, although this is advantageous rather than essentialA genuine interest in growing with the practice long termThe practiceThis is an established, privately owned,



three‐chair dental practice with a growing clinical and support team.The team currently includes four dentists, Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist support, Dental Assistants, reception and Treatment Coordination.The practice manages a busy schedule that includes larger and more complex cases, so communication, organisation and strong leadership are significant.While the environment is busy, the team genuinely looks after one another.
The owner is not looking for someone who leads from above—they want a Practice Manager who will work alongside the team, understand the pressures of the day and bring out the best in the people around them.The practice invests in its team through professional development, training, team activities, shared goals and celebrating achievements together.HoursMonday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 am–5:00 pmTuesday and Thursday: 11:00 am–7:00 pmSome flexibility is required.
