Our growing team of more than 25 people brings together over 100 years of combined pet travel experience.With more than 15,000 satisfied customers and international accreditations including IATA, RACA, IPATA and ATA, Petraveller is recognised as a national leader in the pet travel industry.Our mission is simple: to safely reunite families with their pets through exceptional care and personalised service.LOCATIONOur Sydney office is located in the heart of Mascot, approximately five kilometres from Sydney International Airport.ABOUT THE ROLEPetraveller has an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable animal handler to join our Ground Operations team as a casual Pet Concierge.The role is expected to provide approximately 18 hours of work each week across Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
An immediate start is available, with comprehensive training provided.As a Pet Concierge, you will play an key role in the first stage of each pet's international travel journey.
You will meet clients at their homes, safely transport their pets and coordinate appointments with our veterinary, government, pet hotel and airline partners.You will also prepare pets for departure, manage important travel documents and permits, and lodge pets at the airport for their flights.This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role requiring excellent animal‐handling skills,



careful organisation and a calm, caring approach.ABOUT YOUYou will be well suited to this role if you:Are confident and experienced in handling dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes and temperamentsCommunicate professionally and compassionately with clientsHave strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detailCan work autonomously while following schedules and company proceduresRemain calm and adaptable when airline schedules or client requirements changeAre physically fit and comfortable performing a hands‐on roleHave a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a collaborative teamAre familiar with the Sydney metropolitan areaHold a current unrestricted driver licence with a clean driving historyProfessional animal-handling experience is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESYour responsibilities will include:Safely handling pets in accordance with Petraveller proceduresCollecting pets from customers' homes throughout metropolitan SydneyTransporting pets to veterinary consultations and government appointmentsChecking pets in and out of our pet hotelPreparing pets and travel crates for international air travelLodging pets with airlines at Sydney AirportTransporting offloaded pets safely to our pet hotel when requiredPreparing and checking travel documentation and departure permitsCommunicating with clients by telephone and face to faceCompleting general warehouse, vehicle and office maintenance dutiesWHY JOIN PETRAVELLER?
