ARA Manufacture is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team at our facility in Caringbah, NSW.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse fabrication and welding projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded and fabricated components using both traditional and modern welding techniques.
This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our clients receive superior craftsmanship and reliability.Key responsibilitiesPerform manual and semi-automatic welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniquesFabricate, assemble and construct metal structures and components according to specifications and technical drawingsInspect completed work for quality, dimensional accuracy and structural integrityOperate cutting equipment including oxy-acetylene torches and angle grindersRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsCollaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specificationMaintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety requirementsMaintain welding equipment and tools, reporting any faults or maintenance needsTest welds and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standardsWhat we're looking forCurrent welding certification or extensive hands-on welding experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processesProven experience in fabrication and metalworking within the trades and manufacturing sectorStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specificationsKnowledge of welding safety standards,
