About us
Main Street Medical Centre in Pialba has been caring for the Fraser Coast community since 1983. We're a bulk-billing GP and skin cancer clinic, AGPAL accredited, and an accredited training practice with the RACGP and ACRRM. Our work has a strong focus on:
Preventive health
Chronic disease management
Women's and men's health
Skin cancer medicine
You'll work alongside experienced GPs, GP registrars and a supportive team of registered and enrolled nurses.
What's on offer
Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week
Day shifts Monday to Friday, between 7:15 am and 5:30 pm, with no evenings, weekends or public holidays
Structured orientation to general practice nursing, with mentoring from experienced practice nurses
Competitive pay, negotiable depending on experience

What you'll do
Assist GPs with clinical procedures and patient care
Provide immunisations, wound care and health promotion
Support chronic disease care plans and health assessments
Keep accurate electronic health records in Best Practice
Deliver patient education and preventive health support
What we're looking for
Current general registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra (current graduates awaiting their first registration are welcome to apply)
An interest in primary care and preventive health
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and grow in a GP setting
General practice experience is welcome but not essential, as full orientation is provided
