Finance ManagerSydney CBD$130,000 – $150,000 + SuperAn established and highly regarded professional services business is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day finance function.
Working closely with senior leadership, this is a broad, hands‐on position combining financial management, reporting and commercial support.
You'll be joining a collaborative business where finance plays an important role in supporting operational and commercial decision‐making.The RoleYou will take responsibility for the finance function, with duties including:Monthly management reporting and financial analysisBudgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementMonth-end processes and balance sheet reconciliationsProject and operational financial reportingAccounts receivable, invoicing and cash collection oversightAccounts payable and payment managementPayroll and associated statutory obligationsMaintaining strong financial controls and processesSupporting senior leaders with budgets and financial performanceLiaising with external accountants,



banks and other professional advisersProviding commercial and financial input across the wider businessSupporting and overseeing transactional finance activitiesAbout YouYou will be an experienced, hands‐on finance professional who is comfortable operating across both management‐level reporting and the day‐to‐day finance function.Ideally, you will bring:A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineCA or CPA qualificationApproximately8+ years' accounting experienceExperience within skilled services, consulting or another project‐based environmentStrong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting capabilityExperience managing month‐end and financial reportingStrong working knowledge of Xero, including payrollAdvanced Excel skillsStrong commercial acumen and attention to detailConfidence working directly with senior stakeholdersThe ability to manage competing priorities in a hands‐on environmentThis would suit an established Finance Manager or Financial Controller who enjoys being close to the business and wants a broad role with genuine ownership and visibility.
