IWA provides Aged Care, Disability Support Services, Community Development, and Settlement Support Services.About the roleWe are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is integral to providing exceptional client care and supporting the overall wellbeing of our aged care and NDIS clients.What you'll be doingDelivering high-quality nursing care to Support at Home Aged Care and NDIS clients, including conducting assessments, wound care, administering medications, and coordinating treatment plans.Assess, plan and implement client care within your scopeConsider physical, social and psychological requirementsCreate and update care plans to reflect developing needsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentationEnsure clinical quality compliance standards are met by adhering to all relevant aged care/ NDIS regulations, policies, and procedures.Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure seamless,



client-centric careYou will work in our office in Roselands NSW and provide in home client visits as required on a weekly basis.KEY SELECTION CRITERIACurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare or community setting.Strong clinical skills, with a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families from CALD backgroundDemonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred careFlexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentProficient in using Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new software's.High level clinical skills including expertise in dementia, wound care, catheter care and palliative careAbility to work well under pressure and be versatile to changing priorities and environment.Knowledge and understanding of community care programs (Aged Care and NDIS) and relevant principles and StandardsAustralian driver license and access to vehicleWhat we offerAt IWA Australia, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal development of our employees.
