The early years are some of the most important in a child's life.
As a Trainee Educator, you will complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working full-time alongside experienced educators and teachers.
This traineeship allows you to earn while you learn, gain hands‐on experience, and build the foundations for a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education.
It can also provide a pathway to further study, including a Diploma or university qualification.
About the Role
This role carries a high level of responsibility in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of every child.
You will:
Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environmentContribute to a culture of child safety, reflective practice, and continuous improvementLearn from experienced educators and teachers while completing your qualificationBuild positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesParticipate in meaningful play experiences and learning opportunitiesContribute to inclusive and sustainable learning environmentsDevelop your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

About You
You will:
Be 16 years of age or older (completion of Year 12 is preferred)Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentBe willing and excited to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareDemonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, including upholding Child Secure Standards and reporting obligationsMaintain safe, respectful, and professional interactions with children at all timesHave the ability to manage study requirements alongside employmentHold or be able to obtain a valid and verified Working with Children Check (if over 18 years of age)Provide a minimum of two professional or character references
